The basics
What is Summit?
Summit is a research and tracking tool for US sports player props: NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. It shows every prop Australian bookmakers offer, with the player's form, a projection, a stats-only Matchup grade, house model picks and your own bet record (My Bets).
Is Summit a bookmaker? Can I bet through it?
No. Summit doesn't take bets or hold money. You place bets with your own bookmaker; Summit helps you research them and keep track.
Who can use Summit?
Anyone 18 or over. You need a free account to see the board, models and results.
Does it cost anything?
Summit is free while we're in early access. If we add paid features later, we'll tell you well before anything changes.
The numbers
Where do the odds come from?
The price shown is the average across Australian bookmakers at the main line. Where no Australian book offers a prop, the row is tagged so you know. Prices are there for information: they aren't part of the Matchup grade.
What does the Matchup grade mean?
Each prop gets one grade from A to E describing the matchup. A strongly favours the over, B leans over, C is neutral, D leans under and E strongly favours the under. It's a percentile within each market, so about 10% of props are A, 20% B, 40% C, 20% D and 10% E. Every grade comes with a one-line reason. Props without enough history show “–”.
What goes into the grade?
Stats only, all from before the game: the player's recent form and hit rate at today's line, home and away splits, head-to-head against this opponent, how this defence treats his position, how players at his position did against their lines against this opponent lately, pace and volume, rest and back-to-backs, the opposing starter and lineup in MLB, role trend (minutes, ice time, targets or plate appearances) and our own stats projection. Each sport's weights were fitted on 2024–25 and checked on 2026 games they never saw. Odds and prices are not inputs, and neither are injuries or minutes limits: an injury badge is shown next to the grade instead.
Is an A grade a good bet?
Not necessarily. An A means the stats favour the over strongly compared with other props in that market. It says nothing about whether the price is good, and it isn't a promise of profit. Weigh it against the price yourself.
What are house models?
Fixed betting rules applied to every game, for example backing an NHL home team against a visitor on the second night of a back-to-back. Live picks are published at least 6 hours before the game (3 hours for NBL) and can't be edited or deleted.
Do you guarantee profits?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Grades are a stats ranking, not tips; even well-researched bets lose often, and past results don't guarantee future ones. We show sample sizes so you can judge for yourself.
How are bets settled?
On official box scores, using the bookmakers' rules: if a player takes the field, the bet stands, even with a zero.
