A house model is one fixed rule applied to every game. Each is tested on past seasons before it goes live, every pick is locked before the game, and every loss stays on the record.
One rule, every game, no judgement calls
A tipster picks what they like on the day. A house model doesn't: it applies the same written rule to every game, so its record shows how the rule itself does. A rule can be as simple as a team situation, like a visitor on the second night of a back-to-back.

The rule comes first
Each model is one plain rule, written down before it's tested, like “back the NHL home team when the visitor is on the second night of a back-to-back”. No tweaking it afterwards to fit the results.

Tested on past games
The rule is replayed on past seasons, using only what was known before each game: the prices, lines and form at the time, never the result.

Both halves must hold up
The history is split into an earlier and a later half. A rule has to make money in both, so one lucky stretch can't carry it.

Strict statistics
We test many ideas, and some will look good by luck. So the bar is raised for every extra idea tested, and most rules never make it live.
Locked before the game
Picks are published at least 6 hours before the game (3 hours for NBL) at the price you could have bet, then locked. The database won't let them be edited or deleted.
Every loss stays
Losing picks and losing runs stay on the record. If you can't see the bad weeks, you can't trust the good ones.

Each model's full record: every pick, win or lose, at one unit a pick. Today's picks are for members.
